Yassa accantadussilyaṁ,
māluvā sālamivotthataṁ;
Karoti so tathattānaṁ,
yathā naṁ icchatī diso.

One choked by immorality,
as a sal tree by a creeper,
does to themselves
what a foe only wishes.
