Kāḷayakkhinīvatthu

Na hi verena verāni,
sammantīdha kudācanaṁ;
Averena ca sammanti,
esa dhammo sanantano.

English

For never is hatred
laid to rest by hate,
it’s laid to rest by love:
this is an ancient teaching.
