Nandagopālakavatthu

Diso disaṁ yaṁ taṁ kayirā,
verī vā pana verinaṁ;
Micchāpaṇihitaṁ cittaṁ,
pāpiyo naṁ tato kare.

A wrongly directed mind
would do you more harm
than a hater to the hated,
or an enemy to their foe.
