Pali

Tiṇadosāni khettāni,
dosadosā ayaṁ pajā;
Tasmā hi vītadosesu,
dinnaṁ hoti mahapphalaṁ.

English

Weeds are the bane of crops,
but hate is these folk’s bane.
That’s why a gift to one rid of hate
is so very fruitful.
