Bahuputtikattherīvatthu

Pali

Yo ca vassasataṁ jīve,
apassaṁ dhammamuttamaṁ;
Ekāhaṁ jīvitaṁ seyyo,
passato dhammamuttamaṁ.
Sahassavaggo aṭṭhamo.

English

Better to live a single day
seeing the supreme teaching
than to live a hundred years
blind to the supreme teaching.
